Investing in Your Care

At Grace in the Shadows, we are committed to transparency and supporting clients from the very first step. We believe in offering accessible, compassionate counseling while also providing clear information about costs and insurance so you can make the best choice for your journey.

Session Fees

Our fees are set to reflect the clinical expertise, training, and compassionate care our team provides:

  • Individual Counseling (45–60 minutes): $150

  • Couples Counseling (45–60 minutes): $150

  • Marriage Intensive (12-hour comprehensive program): $2,000

  • Sex/Porn Addiction Intensive (12-hour focused program): $2,000

These sessions are designed to help you grow in emotional strength, relational health, and personal resilience. We tailor our work to your goals: whether that includes clinical best practices, biblical counseling, or faith-integrated support.

Insurance

Coverage varies by plan and clinician; we’ll verify benefits before your first session.

We strive to make counseling more accessible, and we accept a range of health insurance plans. Many clients pay only their copay at the time of service when using insurance. Please contact our office to verify your specific plan benefits before your first session.

For your privacy and convenience, Grace in the Shadows partners with two trusted third-party service providers to assist with insurance verification and secure payment processing. These partners help ensure accurate benefits information and confidential billing so our team can remain focused on your care.

Out-of-Network & Superbill Options

If we are not in-network with your insurance, we are happy to provide a Superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement if your plan covers out-of-network mental health benefits. Many clients choose this option when their plan does not cover mental health.

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards

  • FSA/HSA cards

  • Self-pay at the time of service

If you have questions about payment or need assistance understanding your insurance coverage, our team is happy to help.

Why Transparency Matters

We know money conversations can feel uncomfortable, but we also know that clarity about cost and coverage helps potential clients feel confident and prepared. Being open about fees and insurance options is part of offering compassionate, trustworthy care from the very first interaction.
